Step 1 - Open the OBS software.

 

Step 2 - Go to settings - Audio - Advanced - Monitoring Device and set it to 'Zoom Audio Device'

(If Zoom Audio Device does not show up, continue and the check out the Trouble Shooting Section)

 

Step 3 - In OBS Studio Mode - Right click on right screen - Click 'Full Screen Projector'

 

Step 4 - Open Zoom - Start Meeting - Join with Computer Audio - Mute your microphone 

 

Step 5 - Share Screen - Select OBS screen - Share Computer Sound - Select 'Optimise Screen Share for Video Clip'

 

ZOOM AUDIO DEVICE TROUBLESHOOTING

 

 Sometimes the 'Zoom Audio Device' option does not show up. That is fine, it just means Zoom need to give us a little piece of software to use it! If it doesn't show up do everything in the previous tutorial except Step 2. Once you share with Zoom, it will ask to install 'Zoom Audio Device'. Now you will be able to connect up the sound!  

 

Finally, in any audio tracks in the OBS Software, click on the pin wheel next to the audio track and select 'Advanced Audio Settings' for that track and select 'Monitor and Output'

STREAM DECK LINK UP

There is sometimes an issue in which you cannot link OBS to Stream Deck.

Now you'll need to link between OBS and Stream Deck -

Once all is installed, in OBS, click on Tools in the top bar and you should see 'Elegato Remote Control'.

STREAM DECK LINK UP TROUBLE SHOOTING

In Windows 10 or macOS, you may see a message that "Elgato Remote Control plugin is missing".  That is the current name of the plugin that interfaces with OBS.

A solution is to:

1. Make sure you have the latest OBS version

2. Launch OBS

3. Launch the latest version of Stream Deck

4. Quit Stream Deck

5. Quit OBS

6. Reinstall Stream Deck

7. Launch OBS
